About Catharsis Psychotherapy

Our Mission

Catharsis Therapy was established in 2020 to address the lack of mental health services available for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) individuals, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and women in Ontario. Co-founded by two Black women, Nereah Felix and Karoline Achille, our mission is to provide accessible and culturally responsive psychological treatment to the community. We are committed to bridging the gap and ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, has access to high-quality mental health support

Our Vision

Catharsis Therapy is a trusted provider of culturally sensitive, anti-oppressive, and multilingual psychotherapy services designed specifically for minorities. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to ensuring that each individual receives compassionate, respectful, and personalized care. We understand the unique challenges and experiences faced by minorities and we strive to create a safe and inclusive environment that promotes healing, growth, and empowerment. With our support, you can access the help you need to achieve your mental health goals and live your best life.
